Born in Rosario, Argentina, on 14 February 1988, Angel Fabian Di Maria Hernandez joined a local club in 1995 and graduated from the youth academy ten years later. He then made his professional debut on 14 December 2005 in Rosario’s final fixture of the Apertura. His first goal was made around eleven months later when the club was against Quilmes in the following season of Apertura in which they won by 4-2.
